During the production process for my poster design, I chose to research an artist that had a style where I could find room to grow as a digital artist. Jules Chéret specialized in chromolithography and took advantage of the medium's freehand process, and I knew it would be interesting to incorporate his hand lettering and signature bright primary colors into the poster design. I then created a process book (below) to further dive into what the design process looked like from research to sketches, and to give more context on what the project entailed.
